There will be rains on 21st , 22nd and 23rd  February in Solan, Shimla and Sirmour districts. There will be some clouds in three districts during next five days. The humidity will be in the range of 52 - 91% in three districts. The day temperature in Solan districts will be in the range of 140C - 160C and night temperature will be in the range of 40C to 50C. The night temperature in Sirmour districts will be in the range of 60C to 70C and in Shimla district it will be in the range of 30C to 50C. The minimum temperature recoded at Nauni during last five days was 3.00C, whereas maximum temperature was 16.80C. The rainfall recorded at Nauni during last five days was 18.3 mm. The wind speed will be in the range of 3 – 15 km/h during this period in Solan, Shimla and Sirmour districts. During last 24 hours the minimum temperature recorded at Nauni was 5.00C, maximum temperature 16.80C and rainfall was nil. 


APPLE/STONE FRUITS (PLUM, APRICOT, PEACH) : 


Continue pruning and training operations. Apply bordeaux or Chaubatia paste on the pruning cuts.  Plant grafted seedlings as soil moisture is sufficient to enhance their establishment. 

Farmers are advised to use hail net for orchard crops to protect from mechanical damage.
 
Prune and mend snow damaged plants and apply protective paste like blytox on parts exposed due to injury to prevent fungal and bactentenlal infections

Vegetables (Peas )

Stacking of peas may be carried out. Remove water from the fields.

wheat  :

Do not allow the water to stagnate and hence drain out excess water from the crop fields

LIVESTOCK :

Supply high energy food and lukewarm water to the animals. Extra 1 kg concentrate to be given to lactating animals to avoid heat loss. 

In case of milking animal, udder should be washed with lukewarm water containing salt for 10-15 minutes before milking so as to increase blood circulation toward udder and ultimately milk production.
